The Region VII Officer Retreat is a leadership development program created for Region VII chapter officers. The weekend includes both general and position-specific training designed to help each officer succeed both as an individual leader and as part of a team.
Who Should Attend?
If you are a chapter officer, you should attend.
Benefits
Officers who participate will:
- establish effective lines of communication internally (as a chapter) and externally (with other chapters, their respective Sections, and Region VII).
- meet and work with officers with similar responsibilities (i.e. Presidents with Presidents, Pledge Trainers with Pledge Trainers, etc.).
- learn about other chapters and how they run their programs
- share ideas on how to better solve chapter challenges.
- better understand the National Fraternity, including structure, paperwork, and more.
Program Fee
The registration fee is $45/person. This all-inclusive price includes: lodging, meals, and all program supplies for the weekend. Registration (paperwork and fees) is due on December 28th. Due to a grant from the national Fraternity, THE FIRST 100 OFFICERS* will be able to register for $25. $25!! Don't delay!
*Discounted rate requires full, engaged participation for the duration of the event.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in begins at 6pm on Friday night. (Please eat dinner before you arrive.) Check-out is at 12pm on Sunday afternoon. The retreat begins at 7pm on Friday, January 6 and will last the entire weekend. Please plan accordingly.
